Refund & Returns Policy

Karnival Costumes (Creative Park Limited)


1. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unused, unchanged, and in their original, resalable condition

  • Sealed in original packaging without damage or missing parts

  • Tried-on only for fitting purposes (not worn or used)

Opened or damaged packaging renders the item non‑eligible for return or refund.


2. Non‑Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, the following cannot be exchanged or refunded if removed from sealed packaging:

  • Underwear or hosiery (tights, stockings, socks)

  • Contact lenses

  • Wigs, hairpieces, and costume teeth
    This policy also applies if any of these are included with a costume.


3. Services & Digital Products

Services that begin as soon as payment is processed (e.g., gift cards, e-vouchers) are not eligible for refunds once issued.


4. Change‑of‑Mind Returns (Extended Window)

While UK Consumer Contracts Regulations allow 14 working days to return most goods, we’ve extended this to 20 working days from delivery for your convenience.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • Please include either your invoice with a return reason or clearly note your order number and return details.


5. Return Shipping

You or your courier are responsible for the goods until they reach us.

  • We recommend using a tracked Royal Mail service for safety.

  • Unless the item is faulty, return shipping costs must be covered by the customer.


6. Refunds for Standard Returns

If returned within 20 working days and in original condition, you’ll receive a full refund of:

  • The original purchase price

  • Any postage & packaging fees paid


7. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us first.

  • We’ll work to resolve your concern and, if necessary, cover return postage.


8. How to Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us to advise you're returning an item.

  2. Package it securely.

  3. Ship it using a tracked method.

  • For non-physical products or services, please enquire for specific refund instructions.


9. Refund Processing

Upon receipt, all returns are inspected. If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5 working days to your original payment method.

  • We are not responsible for bank delays or related charges.


10. Missing Refund?

If your refund hasn’t appeared:

  1. Check your bank/card statement.

  2. Contact your bank—processing times can vary.

  3. If still not received, please get in touch with us.


11. Discounted or Sale Items

  • If a discount voucher was used, refund will only be for the amount actually paid, not full retail price.

  • Sale or clearance items may be non-refundable for change-of-mind purchases—please contact us before purchasing if uncertain.


12. Disputed Returns

Returns that fail to meet policy criteria are considered “In Dispute.”

  • These are not refunded or exchanged.

  • You will be notified and options (e.g., reshipment at your cost) will be offered.

Disputed items are held for 90 days after notification. If uncollected, they will be disposed of.


13. Late Returns

Returns arriving after the 20‑working‑day window are not entitled to refunds.

  • However, if they meet other conditions, we may issue a Karnival Costumes credit voucher (valid for 90 days) in lieu of a refund.
