In a bygone age when there was no 'tech' to keep people amused, people created their own entertainment and one of the nicest of these diversions was the Barber Shop singer. Normally a barbershop quartet would be formed, this is a group of four singers who sing music in the barbershop genre, which uses four-part harmony without accompaniment by instruments, a style called a cappella.
