It maybe on the other side of the world and it is definitely a long flight but Australia is definitely a fun place to be. From the high life in any of the major cities to the real outback of the Northern Territories. And every year at the end of January, Australians around the world celebrate Australia Day when they celebrate their country and their culture. Australia Day commemorates the establishment of the ort Jackson settlement in 1788.
One of the most recognizable exports is the song WALTZING MATILDA. "Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong, under the shade of a coolabah tree, and he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled, who’ll come a Waltzing Matilda with me. Waltzing Matilda. Waltzing Matilda, who’ll come a Waltzing Matilda with me, and he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled, who’ll come a Waltzing Matilda with me". Thanks to Banjo Patterson who wrote the words and because of this simple ditty there will always be something to sing on Australia Day or at any other Aussie themed event or sports day.
