However you're planning to celebrate this Oktoberfest this year, whether going to Munich itself or at an Oktoberfest party closer to home, this is a super Bavarian Lederhosen costume that will have you feeling right at home with the rest of the crowd. Our Mr Oktoberfest fancy dress comprises of a short sleeved off-white shirt which has to which has a traditional turn-over collar and cord lacing across the open neckline. This is worn with a pair of brown lederhosen which have attached braces and chest crosspiece. These are decorated in a traditional style attached at the back with brass coloured buttons for the front which allow for variation in height. The lederhosen also have an elasticated back to the waistband which allows for a comfortable fit, whilst keeping the smooth fit across the front. There are two further brass buttons to the front of the shorts and a green cord trim is used to create a faux opening. At the knee the outer side seams are also decorated in a traditional Bavarian manner with more cross lacing finished with a matching green tassel. Unusually, this super costume includes a pair of fawn coloured knee socks and the whole look is completed with a fairly decent black hat with green hatband and feather decoration.
