The history of the evacuation of nearly a million children to the relative safety of the countryside is well documented. But it was an achievement of some magnitude and a whole generation was saved the horrors of the blitz and it's associated shortages. From a huge collection of childrens fancy dress and WWII costumes, our wartime boy evacuee costume is sure to create the right look and it comprises comprises of a long sleeved white shirt which comes with a tie. Also included is a sleeveless jumper in a maroon colour. This evocative costume comes with a pair of long shorts which have an elasticated wasitband for a comfortable fit. This children's evacuation fancy dress costume is completed with a cap with a small peak at the front. This is a stylised costume and is ideal for school productions and book weeks.
