With most wearing all they prossessed or at least their Sunday best clothes, the sadness of the whole event was equalled only by the logistical brilliance that saw almost a million children evacuated to the safe haven of the countryside. From this dark and sad period of our history, and included in our huge collection of children's fancy dress and WWII costumes, this is our smart wartime Evacuee Boy costume which is just right for creating the look and feel of the time. This wonderful costume comprises of a long sleeved grey suit jacket which features an inset white collared shirt front complete with blue tie. On the lapel there is a parcel label which at least means you should get your own back at the end of the day. Also included is a pair of matching long length trousers which complete the look of the suit and the whole outfit is completed with a blue hat which matches the tie. This is a stylised costume and is ideal for school productions and book weeks. Childrens Evacuee Costume for boys is available in sizes;
