This girl's wartime schoolgirl costume is sure to bring back a mixture of good and bad memories to those old enough to remember those events and it should serve as a poignant reminder of some of the consequences of WWII. In our kid's historical fancy dress section, our Evacuee School Girl's fancy dress comprises of a short sleeved dress which features a white blouse stop with a faux jumper and a floral patterned skirt. The dress has a high rounded neckline with a collar and it comes with a name tag which was attached to the child, not the bag, this is sure to be the most evocative element. The outfit is completed with a brown beret and a bag that would have been worn at all times as it would have contained a gas mask. This is a stylised costume and is ideal for school productions and book weeks.
