From our collection of girls costumes for Halloween, this is our Day of the Dead dress which will add a bit of colour to any party and follows the trend for this year's most popular parties. Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is a traditional Mexican festival which celebrates those who have passed on with colourful costumes and decorations. And this pretty dress will allow your daughter to enter the spirit of festival, this unusual costume comprises of a short sleeved dress which features a high rounded neckline, The dress has a plain black body with the central part having a transfer printed skeleton rib cage and which is edged in a scooped neckline fashion with red braid. Above this there is a yoke of of plain black lace and this transitions to a colourful and rich rose and skull print fabric which is used to create a puffed shoulder look. The same rose and skull fabric is used to create the skirt and this is finished, around the hemline with a wide plain black edging. Please note; the model is shown with traditional Day of the Dead makeup and we have kits that will help you get the desired look.
