Wear it Pink is now an annual event during autumn and for 2021 we’ll all be wearing pink on 23 October in an effort to raise money and awareness of the life-saving research which needs to continue until a cure is found.

Breast cancer is still here. It’s still tearing apart the lives of families and it’s still taking the lives of the women we love on a heartbreaking scale. So the search for that cure needs to continue and for that to happen money to fund the research programs needs to continue to be raised.

So will you join the rest of us and wear it pink in October?

Wear it Pink day is organised by Breast Cancer Now and it’s now one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place on 23 October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of fundraising heroes will wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.

And since our first event in 2002, an amazing sum of over £31.5 million has been raised to fund this life-saving research. Research that’s working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage so that the disease can be stopped from taking more lives.

If you’re asking yourself what you can do, to take part in wear it pink day, then the answer is simple.

Register as a fundraiser, gather your sponsorship and wear something pink on 23 October to raise money. Even if you feel silly, you should be felling proud that you’ll be helping to make that cutting edge breast cancer research happen.
