What Sports Fancy Dress Costume Would You Choose?

With a super weekend of sport just gone where we saw Lewis Hamilton celebrating another podium finish and the Premier League spiralling into an exciting climax, we’ve just been having a chat in the Karnival Costumes office about our own sporting hobbies and how we never seem to find time to take part in them these days.

Unsurprisingly, our quick straw poll has golf as being the top hobby in the office, which when you think of the success and popularity of our golf costume range. Included in the range are novelty golfing costumes as well as a number of more traditional styles including one which would look great at any 30’s or 40’s costume party. So we have the golfers well and truly covered.

No one named basketball as their sport of choice but our Harlem Globetrotters costume is a real winner with both Stag parties as well as boy’s night out. Teamed with a jumbo Afro wig this creates an affordable sports outfit for any event.

Have to say other than a passing reference to watching it on the TV, no one mentioned Boxing as their favourite way to stay fit but we continue to experience high interest in our boxing costumes for both men and women.

All of that said, the biggest vote was for Pub Sports costumes where we have a dart board costume for men and women.  Very unusual and complete with soft foam darts which you can throw at each other to your hearts content!

And lastly someone did mention their love of American Football which reminded us that we have both men’s and women’s American Footballer costumes and a range of accessories including an inflatable ball and helmet with a real retro feel.  And if you want to cheer the players on, then we have a collection of Cheerleader fancy dress costumes all cite and sassy and which just need a pair of the obligatory pomp poms.

Just our thoughts over a lunchtime sandwich and all we know for sure are that you’ll be able to find a superb collection of sports costumes here on the shelves at Karnival Costumes.
